    • a presente invenção refere-se a um método para processar contêineres plásticos que compreendem: i. prover um contêiner adequado para enchimento a quente; ii. encher o contêiner com líquido aquecido ou aquecível incluindo água; iii. vedar o contêiner com uma vedação ou tampa para fechar o contêiner; iv. resfriar o líquido dentro do contêiner vedado para criar uma primeira pressão de espaço livre dentro do contêiner; v. fechar o contêiner resfriado e vedado dentro de uma câmara de conversor asséptica aberta, em que a câmara de conversor compreende: 1. um ambiente higienizado; 2. meio para manter a higienização do contêiner dentro da câmara de conversor; 3. meio para perfurar ou abrir a tampa ou vedação do contêiner dentro da câmara de conversor; 4. meio para vedar a abertura ou perfuração dentro da câmara de conversor; e 5. meio para transportar ou conduzir múltiplos contêineres dentro da câmara de conversor. vi. criar uma abertura na vedação ou tampa do contêiner dentro de um ambiente higienizado de um meio ou dispositivo perfurador para criar uma abertura na vedação ou tampa; vii. aumentar a primeira pressão de espaço livre para uma segunda pressão de espaço livre dentro do contêiner pela introdução de um fluido higienizado no espaço livre do contêiner; viii. revedar o contêiner dentro de um ambiente higienizado de um meio ou dispositivo de vedação; ix. transportar ou conduzir o contêiner vedado do ambiente higienizado da câmara de conversor.

    • According to aspects of this disclosure there is provided a method for processing plastic containers comprising: i. Providing a container suitable for hot-filling; ii. Filling the container with heated or heatable liquid including water; iii. Sealing the container with a seal or cap to close the container; iv. Cooling the liquid in the sealed container to create a first headspace pressure within the container; v. Enclosing the cooled and sealed container within an open aseptic converter chamber, wherein the converter chamber comprises: 1. A sanitized environment; 2. Means for maintaining the sanitization of the container within the converter chamber; 3. Means for perforating or opening the cap or seal of the container within the converter chamber; 4. Means for sealing the opening or perforation within the converter chamber; and 5. Means for transporting or conveying multiple containers within the converter chamber. vi. Creating an opening in the seal or cap of the container within a sanitized environment of a perforator means or device for creating an opening in the seal or cap; vii. Increasing the first headspace pressure to a second headspace pressure within the container by the introduction of a sanitized fluid to the headspace of the container; viii. Resealing the container within a sanitized environment of a sealing means or device; ix. Transporting or conveying the sealed container from the sanitized environment of the converter chamber.
