Class 106(v) A device for measuring and delivering liquids supplied thereto under pressure includes the combination of a body 10 with a cylindrical passage 11 therein, an inlet and a discharge manifold 28, 27 associated therewith, ports or openings 12, 13, 14, 15 towards each end placing the cylindrical passage in communication with each of the manifolds, a hollow cylindrical sleeve 18 positioned in the cylindrical passage 11 of the body 10, a piston 30 movable inside the sleeve, a port or opening 24 at one end and two ports 25, 26, at the other end in the sleeve 18 so that when it is manually turned to one position, liquid under pressure is admitted into the sleeve and so moves the piston 30 whilst liquid on the other side of the pistonis for,ced out through ports or openings into the discharge manifold. The sleeve 18 is held in position by caps 19, 21 at each end of the body 10 of the device, which caps have inward extensions 20, 22 to limit the stroke of the piston, the extension 20 being adjustable. The sleeve 18 is turned by a rod 23 extending therefrom through a T- shaped slot 29 in the body 10.

摘要： A dozer blade attachment A-E converts a tracked or wheeled backhoe excavator into a bulldozer. No additional hydraulic system is required. To attach the dozer blade to the excavator, at least one tooth on the bucket is inserted into socket E and the blade D is lifted to locate pins A into brackets B on the excavator undercarriage. Blade height is adjusted in use via the bucket teeth. When the blade is not in use, it is held off the ground by means of a chain between the back of the blade and a hook (F, Fig 3) on the undercarriage.

A cosmetic dispenser comprises a case a, at least one stem c and a follower b apertured to slide along the stem c but not rotate, the periphery of the follower b and the internal surface of the case a having screw engagement. A helical rib b 1 on the cup or follower b engages in a helical groove a 3 on the internal surface of the case a. A finger knob d is secured to the stem c and on rotation relative to the case a causes the cosmetic to be projected or retracted. To assemble the dispenser a grommet e is pushed into an aperture in the end wall a 1 of the casing a, an octagonal end c 1 of the stem c is passed through the grommet e, the knob d. is secured to the stem c, the follower b is pushed into the case a to engage the free end of the stem and retracted down to the grommet and the stick is cast in the case. In an alternative embodiment, Fig. 4, the follower 11 is provided with a helical groove 17 to engage a helical rib 16 formed on the case 10 which is surrounded by a sheath 14. The base of the follower 11 has a circular rib 32 which forms a seal against a collar 19 of the stem 12 formed with side wings 13. Fins 31a are set in the follower 11 and have a driving action on the stick to facilitate its retraction. In a modification the stem is secured to an outer sheath surrounding the case which is provided with a gripping ring. In a further modification, Fig. 10, the outer sheath 38 has opposite ribs 39 connected to the knob 40 so as to leave slots 41 through which a ring 42 can be gripped. In a still further modification, Fig. 11, the central stem is replaced by a U-shaped guide 44 secured to the base 45. The case, guide member and follower may be made of a resilient thermoplastic material such as a polyamide, polystyrene or polyethylene synthetic plastic and the sheath, when provided, out of a relatively rigid plastic.
