摘要： A force engine operable to counterbalance a load. The force engine includes one or more energy reservoirs operable to store energy. The one or more energy reservoirs are operable to generate a force to balance the load through the displacement in an operating mode. A traveling member is hingedly connected to the one or more energy reservoirs. The force generated by the one or more energy reservoirs is transferred to the load through the traveling member and an associated linkage. A variable member is coupled to the one or more energy reservoirs. In the adjusting mode the variable member is displaced to configure an operating relationship between the one or more energy reservoirs and the traveling member. A release interacts with the variable member to fix a position of the variable member.

摘要： Apparatus for a betting game comprises a table 22 having a layout (fig.1) on which a player makes his bet using a stack of betting chips 20a-f, means 24,25,26 for determining the location of each stack on the layout and identifying the bet made by each player and analysis means which respond to input data to determine which players have won and how much those players have won. Preferably the apparatus can indicate the number of chips a winning player should be given and can identify the number of chips in a stack. Optionally the location determining means may comprise at least two image capturing devices or alternatively means for interrogating radio frequency tags which are contained in each betting chip. The winning number can be input by the croupier through a numerical keypad. Preferably, when the game is roulette the roulette wheel can be supplied with a sensor to detect the winning number and supply the data to the analysis means.

Timber joists 18, which have previously been cut to the required length are then fitted between the opposed stretcher supports 14. The base 10 is then ready to receive the shed, which may either be erected in situ or be erected elsewhere and lowered on to the base 10.
