摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare a cosmetic gel composition, especially particularly the one, having a high water content and formed into a pencil shape having a tip capable of being pointedly sharpened as in the case of a lead of a pencil. SOLUTION: This cosmetic gel composition has a composition of water in an amount within the range of about 25 to about 50wt.%, an aliphatic diol as a vehicle in an amount within the range of about 25 to about 35wt.%, sodium stearate in an amount within the range of about 4 to about 12wt.%, a pigment in an amount within the range of about 4 to about 28wt.%, a carboxylated acid ester plasticizer in an amount within the range of about 0.1 to about 2wt.% and a surfactant in an amount within the range of about 0.1 to about 1wt.%. Styrene-acrylic polymers in an amount within the range of about 5 to about 10wt.% as a waterproof agent are added thereto in order to enhance the water resistance when applied to skin and the irritation to skin and/or eyes, etc., is mild.

摘要： A plasticized high water content cosmetic gel that will be sharpenable when used as a core inside of a sharpenable pencil barrel. The gel essentially comprises, by weight, about 25 - 42 % water; about 25- 35 % of a polyol or aliphatic diol vehicle such as a butylene glycol; about 4 - 12 % sodium stearate; about 0.1 - 2 % of a carboxylated acid ester plasticizer; about 4 - 28 % of a colorant; and about 0.1 - 1 % of a surfactant. To reduce syneresis, adding about 1 percent or less a viscosity increasing agent is effective. For water resistance when the cosmetic gel is applied to a user's skin, adding about 5 - 10 % of a styrene acrylic polymer waterproofing agent is effective, and does not increase irritation levels out of the mild range.

摘要： A mechanical applicator comprises a barrel, a nose-piece, a coil, a container, and an elongated rod. The nose-piece is rotatably coupled to the barrel. The coil is carried within the barrel and fixed against rotation relative to at least one of the nose-piece and the barrel. The container is movably disposed in the barrel and adapted to contain a mass. The elongated rod is slidably disposed in the barrel and in operative engagement with the coil. So configured, rotating the nose-piece relative to the barrel in a first direction causes the coil to axially displace the elongated rod and advance the mass out of the nose-piece. Moreover, rotating the nose-piece relative to the barrel in a second direction causes the coil to axially displace the elongated rod and retract the mass into the nose-piece.

A composition of the invention can be made translucent or transparent, need not require specialized packaging and containers, is not subject to hardening caused by evaporation of volatile alcohols, is temperature-stable over a period of several weeks, and exhibits excellent esthetic and functional properties, including sensory properties, for consumer acceptance.

Para reducir lasinéresis es efectivoagregar 1% o menos de una sustancia incrementadora de la viscosidad. Para que el gel cosmético sea resistente al agua cuando se loaplica sobre la piel es efectivo agregar de 5 a 10% de sustancia resistente al agua de polímero acrílico deestireno, lo cual n o aumenta los niveles deirritacion más allá del rango de irritacion suave. El dispositivo para guardar y aplicar el cosmético en gel comprende un alojamiento del tipo de canon delápiz que contiene a dicha composicion cosméticacomo nucleo.
