    • A bakery tray (10) includes a base (12) and a pair of opposed side walls (18,20) extending upward from side edges of the base. Front (14) and rear (16) walls extend upward from front and rear edges of the base. A plurality of recesses (46) for receiving bakery items therein are formed in the base. This increases the number of bakery items that can be received in the tray and/or permits a decrease in the stacking height of the trays, thereby permitting another tray (10) to be received on the stack. In one embodiment, the recesses are a plurality of parallel troughs (46) formed in an upper surface of the base. In another embodiment, the plurality of recesses are formed in ribs in the base, such that the bakery items are received in the recesses.

    • Apparatus 1 for playing a game comprises a number of orifices 2, means for intermittently expelling material through each orifice towards a user 4 at selected times, and a controller for determining the selected times of expulsion from each orifice. Each orifice 2 may have a fixed aim, or may be capable of expelling material towards different points, and the controller may cause expulsion of material in a random or pre-programmed manner. Means 5 may be provided to visually or audibly indicate from which orifice material will be expelled, and the orifices may be mounted on poles 6, e.g. collapsible, telescopic or folding poles, or pods (see fig. 7). The material may be a solid, e.g. balls or rings, or may comprise a light source, e.g. laser. Alternatively, the material may be a fluid, e.g. water, which is supplied to the orifices through valves (see fig's 4 and 6). The apparatus may include one or more paddles (see fig. 8), which a player may use to block the expelled material, and the apparatus may be adapted to require the movements of various martial arts or dance styles in order to block the expulsions, e.g. the katas of karate.
