摘要： A fluid atomizer is disclosed. The fluid atomizer comprises a body having a proximal end and a distal end. A removable reservoir containing a fluid disposed therein is connected to the body. A discharge plate is disposed at the distal end, wherein the discharge plate includes a plurality of openings extending therethrough. An ultrasonic oscillator is disposed in the body for transmitting the fluid from the reservoir to the discharge plate and through the plurality of openings, wherein transmission of the fluid through the plurality of openings atomizes the fluid.

摘要： In printing with flexographic plates it is essential that each plate be accurately positioned on the plate cylinders. The mounting apparatus and method of this invention provide a register cylinder (11) on which the flexographic plate is positioned by registration pins (27). The plate cylinder (16) on which the flexographic plate is to be mounted is positioned in a predetermined rotational position on a mounting so that it can be moved towards and away from the register cylinder. The register cylinder (11) is then rotated to a predetermined position and the plate cylinder (16) brought into abutment with the flexographic plate and register cylinder. The registration pins (27) are then retracted and both cylinders rotated to transfer the flexographic plate to the outer surface of the plate cylinder in registration. The plate adheres to the cylinder surface either by an adhesive substance, such as double sided tape, or magnetically.

摘要： A device for augering a conical hole in a solid medium that includes a first elongated member (54) extends along a longitudinal axis (x) and a cutting blade (60) having a cutting section (64) and a non-cutting section (66) coupled to the first elongated member (54). The rod (54) is adapted to be rotated about the longitudinal axis (x). A motor (212) is coupled to the first elongated member (54) which rotates the cutting blade (60) about the longitudinal axis. A shroud (80) is provided through which the first elongated member passes. The shroud attaches to a hydraulic unit (100). Activation of the hydraulic unit (100) causes the first elongated member (54) to move in a longitudinal direction, which causes the cutting blade (60) to move in a radial direction thereby forming a conical hole in a solid medium. The device is used for forming holes used in foundation and anchors. Also disclosed is a method of operation of the device to form a conical hole in solid media.
