[Also in Group I] A plastic container, e.g. a colander or sink tidy having at least one side wall perforated, is moulded as a blank with its side walls A-D including the perforated wall or walls, all lying in substantially the same plane and with flexible junctions E between them, so that by bending about the junctions, they may be assembled to form the side walls of the container. In the high-density polyethylene moulding shown, for a sink tidy the outer portions A and D brought together produce one side wall, the other two walls B, C being at approximately 90 degrees to each other. Flanges M, N on the portions A, D are held together e.g. by the engagement of suitable fixing means, e.g. integrally moulded press studs P on one flange in holes R in the other or by adhesive or welding. Each portion A-D has projecting at right angles to it an integrally moulded sector-shaped wall which together form a bottom for the container. The flexible junctions E have stiff ribbed projections S extending from them to form legs for the container.

A lever 19 pivoting at 20 is tilted by a finger 23 on the hinged cover 3, lifting the jewel mount 16 from the needle.

The latter may discharge above or below water level, and may be fitted with transversely curved radial vanes i, whilst the inlet g may be fitted with a grating. The housing c may be adjusted manually about the drive shaft a for steering purposes and provided with a protecting skeg h. Some of the water is forced up a pipe v into a tubular member t connected to the engine water jacket, whilst the discharged water induces a flow of the exhaust gases through pipes w. In one modification, the rotor is of the centrifugal type, and in another, the axis of the rotor is horizontal and the housing circular in cross-section.
