    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fine particle concentration measuring apparatus capable of measuring fine particle concentration correctly, such that because exhaust gas passed through a fine particle detection filter is emitted without retaining or blocking of stream the accurate measurement of differential pressure becomes possible. SOLUTION: The fine particle concentration measuring apparatus includes an exhaust gas sampling line diverged from the exhaust line to have a channel cross section smaller than a channel cross section of the exhaust line, a fine particle detecting filter installed on the exhaust gas sampling line, a differential pressure detection unit detecting differential pressure generated between an entrance and an outlet of the fine particle detecting filter, a passage wall arranged so as to lead exhaust gas to downstream of the fine particle detecting filter, an inflow side passage the exhaust gas flows to the fine particle detecting filter in the passage wall, and an outflow side passage the exhaust gas flows out of the fine particle detecting filter, while the outflow side passage plans a space with an area of 1.0 times or more of the area made by the inflow side passage at a cross section perpendicular to the axis of the fine particle detecting filter.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the measurement accuracy of a particulate concentration measuring apparatus.SOLUTION: The particulate concentration measuring apparatus for measuring a particulate concentration in an exhaust gas flowing through an exhaust line of a diesel engine includes: an exhaust gas sampling line which is branched from the exhaust line and has a flow path cross sectional area smaller than the flow path cross sectional area of the exhaust line; a particulate detection filter which is installed to the exhaust gas sampling line and collects the particulates; a heating part which heats the collected particulates; and a differential pressure detection part which detects a differential pressure generated between the entrance and exit of the particulate detection filter. The heating part applies 50% or more of a heating value for heating the particulates to the part of 30% on the exhaust gas flow upstream side of the particulate detection filter.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To purify exhaust gas stably without deteriorating a fuel cost in an exhaust gas purifying apparatus of a diesel engine.SOLUTION: The exhaust gas purifying apparatus includes: a primary diesel particulate filter installed in a primary exhaust line of the diesel engine; a secondary exhaust line branched from the primary exhaust line at a branch point on the upstream side of the primary diesel particulate filter; a secondary diesel particulate filter which is installed in the secondary exhaust line, and has a smaller soot storage capacity than the primary diesel particulate filter; a low pressure part, out of the secondary exhaust line, which is provided on the downstream side of the secondary diesel particulate filter, and applies lower pressure than that of the branch point; and a differential pressure measuring part for measuring a differential pressure generated between an inlet and an outlet of the secondary diesel particulate filter. The secondary exhaust line has a downstream end on the downstream side of the secondary diesel particulate filter, and the downstream end is connected to an air intake part of the diesel engine and the downstream side of the primary diesel particulate filter in the primary exhaust line.
