摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a PTFE tube having improved gas permeation resistance and increased tension, and a method of manufacturing the same, regarding the polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) tube for a flexible hose.SOLUTION: A PTFE tube is manufactured which comprises an outer facial trough part and a peak part from a non-spiral tube having a wall thickness W0 through the following methods. 1, To apply deformation force to the PTFE tube at a gel transient temperature or more of PTFE so as to form a forced spiral having a thin wall thickness W1. 2. To cool the PTFT tube to the gel transient temperature or below while forcing the deformation until the spiral having the thin wall thickness W1 is stabilized. Thereby, the PTFE tube having improved gas permeation resistance and increased tension can be obtained.

0 and an inner diameter ID by a process of thinning a range of the pipe so as to give the valley section wall thickness W
1 to the outer surface spiral, the spiral PTFE pipe has the permeation resistance larger improved to be larger than 7.6% in comparison with the non-spiral pipe, this relationship is made between (i) a pipe with the same inner diameter ID and (ii) a pipe with the same weight equal to the PTFE per unit length.

An engagement assembly is located on an inside of the lid and has first and second engagement means.
