摘要： A baggage disinfection system (100) forming a tunnel (101) with at least twelve UVC emitting light bulbs is provided. The system (100) has a roller assembly (140) operated by a motor that causes the roller assembly (140) to convey objects at a rate of between about 0.10 m/second and about 0.50 m/second from an entry end of the system (100) to an exit end of the system (100), such that the travel time between the entry end of the system (100) and the exit end of the system (100) is less than or equal to about 30 seconds. In one embodiment, the system (100) is capable of inactivating at least 99.9% of Sars-Cov-2 viruses passing through the tunnel (101) within the travel time. In another embodiment, the system (100) is capable of inactivating at least 99.99% of Sars-Cov-2 or mutations thereof. In other embodiments, the travel time is less than about 10 seconds or less than about 8 seconds, and the system (100) is capable of inactivating at least 99.9% of Sars-Cov-2 or mutations thereof passing through the tunnel (101) within those travel times, or 99.99% of Sars-Cov-2 or mutations thereof passing through the tunnel (101) within those travel times. The system (100) is capable of inactivating 99.9% or 99.99% of viruses, including influenza viruses and coronaviruses, including without limitations, SARS, MERS and Sars-Cov-2 or mutations thereof.
