    • The present invention discloses an electronic device having a main microcomputer that controls some functions of the electronic device, and a sub microcomputer that executes a process according to an operation input from an external device by using a control program. The sub microcomputer has a first memory that stores plural control programs respectively corresponding to each different specification of the electronic device. The main microcomputer has a second memory that stores specification information to specify the electronic device and sends a selection instruction of the specification to the sub microcomputer based on the specification information stored in the second memory. The sub microcomputer selects the control program corresponding to the specification indicated by the selection instruction from the plural control programs stored in the first memory and then executes a process according to the selected control program.

    • When the assembly is complete, the protrusion 2e of the leaf spring 2b abuts against the bottom wall surface 3g which is an inner bottom surface of the cover member 3 and the leaf spring 2b is bent. In other words, if the push button 2 is held in the cover member 3, without further components, the push button 2 is pushed against the switch board 1 and there will not be a possibility of a wobble.

    • The present invention discloses a separately excited inverter circuit whose switching circuit having a plurality of switching elements and which is capable of minimizing the damage of other switching elements even if any of the plurality of switching elements is short circuited and damaged. The separately excited inverter circuit includes: a switching circuit of which a full bridge circuit applies an AC voltage to the primary winding of the step-up transformer 26e; a control circuit C1 for performing the switching control of a switching circuit 26b when receiving a command signal for commanding the control circuit to oscillate from a transmission line for transmitting the command signal for commanding it to start and stop oscillation; terminal voltage monitoring circuits 51 and 52 for monitoring a terminal voltage across a gate of MOS-FET forming the switching circuit 26b and outputting a reference voltage when the gate voltage exceeds a predetermined threshold; and a thyristor circuit 53 which is connected to the transmission line and to the gate of which the reference voltage is inputted to cause the thyristor circuit to flow a gate current to be turned on, bringing the command signal on the transmission line into cutting off oscillation to stop the oscillation of the control circuit.
