摘要： A pressure-sensitive adhesive composition curable with actinic energy rays which comprises a copolymer comprising 0.1 to 30 wt.%, preferably 0.1 to 3 wt.%, structural units derived from an imide (meth)acrylate represented by general formula (1) and 70 to 99.9 wt.%, preferably 97 to 99.9 wt.%, structural units derived from an ethylenic monomer such as an alkyl (meth)acrylate having a C4-12 alkyl group. In formula (1), R and R each independently is hydrogen or C1-4 alkyl, one of R and R is hydrogen and the other is C1-4 alkyl, or R and R are bonded to each other to form a carbon ring; R is C1-6 alkylene; R is hydrogen or methyl; and n is an integer of 1 to 6. The pressure-sensitive adhesive composition is usable as one-pack type, has excellent storage stability, and does not necessitate any step such as heating or aging when used. The cured article obtained therefrom is excellent in bonding strength and holding power, is substantially odorless, and is extremely suitable for use in pressure-sensitive adhesive sheets, etc.

摘要： An apparatus for controlling the drive power of a plasma display panel in an driving apparatus of the plasma display panel is provided. The apparatus includes a load-ratio preestimator, a discharge number controller, a correlation number counter, and a control-timing regulator. The load ratio preestimator preestimates a load ratio on a frame-by-frame basis, the load ratio being the ratio of the number of discharge cells to be display-discharged to the total number of discharge cells in the plasma display panel. The discharge number controller controls the number of display-discharge in a corresponding frame so as to be inversely proportional to the preestimated load ratio from the load ratio preestimator. The correlation number counter processes input video signals and measures correlation of each frame with its preceding frame. The control-timing regulator controls the output timing of the discharge number controller according to the correlation from the correlation number counter and regulates speed at which the number of display-discharge is controlled.

摘要： A process for preparing a purified virus vaccine comprises the steps of purifying a fluid containing a virus by centrifugation, ultracentrifuging to pellet the supernatant, purifying the virus by sucrose gradient ultracentrifugation, rehydration and lyophilization. Desirably, a modified starch, such as hydroxyethyl starch having a molecular weight in the range 100,000-300,000, is added as a protective colloid prior to lyophilization. The virus is selected from the group consisting of avian paramyxovirus, avian herpesvirus, avian rotavirus, avian bronchitis, avian encephalitis, avian bursitis (Gumboro) virus, Marek's disease virus, parvovirus, Newcastle disease virus, human paramyxovirus, human parvovirus, human adenovirus, and mixtures therof. A purified virus vaccine made by the foregoing method is useful for the treatment and control of mammalian disease of viral origin.
