摘要： A beta detector assembly for use in the synthesis and analysis of radiopharmaceuticals, such as in microfluidic radiochromatography. The beta detector assembly includes a base, preferably fabricated from glass so as to take advantage of electroosmotic flow, that serves as the body of the beta detector assembly. A microfluidic channel passes through the length of the base. A solid-state charge particle detector, for detecting beta particles, is provided and is positioned with respect to the base so as to receive beta particles. A portion of the base is disposed between the microfluidic channel and the solid-state charge particle detector and has a thickness that is selected to substantially allow transmission of beta particles there thru for detection by the charge particle detector. In one embodiment, the base is fabricated of glass. In another embodiment, the base is fabricated of silicon such that the base and the solid-state charge particle detector are integral.

摘要： An apparatus for defining a loop handle in a tubular covering, such as an expanded mesh plastic covering, for a food. The apparatus of the present invention includes a frame for supporting the various assemblies that comprise the apparatus and for engaging a support surface such as a floor. The apparatus of the present invention further includes a conveyor assembly, which conveys the food product from a production line and into the slide area or chute. Positioned proximate the distal end of the chute is a voider assembly defined by a stationary set of voider gates and a moveable set of voider gates. Further, the apparatus of the present invention includes a handle formation assembly for engaging the compressed cord of tubular covering and forming the compressed cord into a loop handle and a clipper device for engaging the handle formation assembly, and the engaged compressed cord of tubular covering and securing two clips to the cord, one to secure the bottom of the tubular covering for the previously processed food product, and one to secure the loop handle and for severing the compressed cord of tubular covering at a point disposed between the two securing clips.

摘要： A hull mounted, steerable marine drive system having trim actuation is both steerable through 360 degrees and is trimmable in a range of from approximately +3 degrees to approximately -15 degrees. The marine drive system includes a watertight enclosure assembly for sealing the hull, which is adapted for keeping much of the marine drive system from being exposed to water. The enclosure includes a gasket flange plate, a retention plate and a folded gasket. The gasket flange plate closely follows the contour of the hull and enhances the hydrodynamic and wake performance of the present marine drive system. Further, marine drive system includes a forward-neutral-reverse (FNR) transmission assembly, a drive unit assembly having a trimmable upper unit and a steerable lower unit, a steering actuator assembly, a trim actuator assembly, and, preferably, trim foils for enhancing lift to assist in getting the boat up on plane.
