摘要： A cement for use in wells in which hydrogen sulfide is present, comprises polymer particles. In the event of cement-matrix failure, or bonding failure between the cement/casing interface or the cement/borehole-wall interface, the polymer particles swell when contacted by hydrogen sulfide. The swelling seals voids in the cement matrix, or along the bonding interfaces, thereby restoring zonal isolation.

摘要： The invention discloses a well treatment composition for use in a subterranean formation comprising: a carrier fluid; and a viscoelastic surfactant being present in a concentration of less than about 1.5% by weight. Optionally, the fluid comprises a crosslinked polymer in a thickening amount in the carrier fluid. The invention also discloses a method to increase the viscosity of a fluid, the method comprising: providing a fluid comprising a thickening amount of a crosslinked polymer; adding a viscoelastic surfactant at a given concentration to the fluid; taking the fluid to a given temperature; defining a viscosity profile of the fluid depending of the concentration and the temperature; comparing said viscosity profile to a viscosity profile of the crosslinked polymer fluid alone; and defining an optimum concentration of the viscoelastic surfactant for each temperature.

摘要： The invention discloses method of treatment and reuse of oilfield produced water. The method comprises: providing an aqueous medium comprised at least in part of oilfield produced water; contacting the aqueous medium with a zirconium compound; whereby the fluid viscosity and/or fluid drag reduction ability of the combination of the aqueous medium and zirconium compound is improved compared to the aqueous medium alone; introducing the combination in to the well; and allowing the combination to contact the formation. In another embodiment, the aqueous medium is further contacted by a friction-reduction additive. Still in another embodiment, the aqueous medium is further contacted by a gelling additive. Still in another embodiment, the fluid is energized with a gas.
