摘要： Various embodiments of the present disclosure provide a liquid medication dispensing apparatus. The apparatus includes a housing including an inner cavity and a cap operable between an open position and a closed position. A cartridge assembly is configured to be inserted in the inner cavity. The cartridge assembly includes a support structure, a mounting platform, a nozzle base including a nozzle, and an intermediate body portion coupling the support structure and the nozzle base while maintaining a gap therebetween. The apparatus includes a control unit disposed in the housing. The control unit is configured to receive a first signal from a circuitry associated with a dispensing button, upon detection of an input on the dispensing button. Upon receipt of the first signal, the control unit provides a command signal to a drive mechanism for retrieving a liquid medication from a medication bottle and extrude the liquid medication through the nozzle.

The method performed by a control unit includes monitoring flow of water at one or more inlets and one or more outlets included in the tank to determine current locations of a plurality of water layers within the tank. The plurality of water layers changes corresponding positions within the tank based on water entering within and exiting from the tank. The method includes receiving a series of temperature values measured at a series of time instances from at least one temperature sensor mounted to the tank. The method includes electronically generating a temperature profile of the tank based at least on the current locations of the plurality of water layers and the series of temperature values.

摘要： The present disclosure provides a system for extracting potable water from saline water. The system includes a pre-treatment unit configured to receive the saline water from a reservoir, and configured to heat the saline water to a predetermined temperature. An evaporator is coupled to the pre-treatment unit for receiving the heated saline water, and includes a housing for receiving the heated saline water, a porous material disposed in the housing and an evaporator gas port. The evaporator gas port routes gas into the housing via the porous material, and disperses to form gas bubbles. The gas bubbles induce turbulent motion within the housing for converting the heated saline water into the mixture of the water vapors and the concentrated saline water.
