摘要： Managing wireless data offload to alternative network access in an environment where a mobile devices are connected to a primary access network and in certain parts of the primary access network at certain times the mobile network operator desires to offload a certain amount of data traffic to an alternative network access system, the alternative network access being under control of a separate entity. The determination of which mobile devices connect to which alternative network access points at which times is based on a defined offload profile for each of the nodes of the primary access network and based on real time reporting by mobile devices about their network connections and their use. The management of offload to achieve the desired offload profile is based on real time instructions to mobile devices about which connections to use.
