Sensors (R1, R2, 30, 107, 106) senses supply voltage and bridge current and the processor (2) monitors there to determine further stimulation and faults.

    • A microporous insulation material mixture which may comprise fumed silica, IR opacifier, and fibres of organic or inorganic material is blended and the blended mixture is spread across a lower conveyor belt (72) which is trained over rollers (73, 74). To aid the spreading of the mixture a spreading device (70) is used. The spreader unit (70) extends across the width of the main belt (72) to ensure an even spread of the mixture. The spreader (70) is used to set the height of the material being delivered onto the belt (72). The mixture is delivered by the conveyor (72) to a pressing system which in this case comprising an upper conveyor belt (71) which is trained over rollers (75), (76). The upper roller (75) at the inlet end is located to provide a lead-in pressing action. The pressing system also comprises a nipping means provided in this case by a plurality of upper and lower nipping rollers (78, 77). The gaps between the individual rollers (78, 77) is adjustable. The first rollers (78, 77) at the input end may be set to a gap of 25mm and the others set to gradually reduce the gap to about 20mm between the final rollers (78, 77) at the output end. An upper fleece liner (80) is led from a delivery roller (81) to lie between the upper conveyor belt (71) and the insulation mixture. Similarly, a lower fleece liner (82) is fed from a delivery roller (83) to lie between the insulation mixture and the lower conveyor belt (72). The fleece liners (80, 82) may continue through the process and may be used to encase the core (40) prior to enclosing in an envelope (50) and applying a vacuum.

    • A message router comprises a message controller with service logic functions, and a state database. It receives and processes message segments, maintains state of single and concatenated messages, and applies services to the messages. A routing and discrimination engine accesses a selected state database among an associated database and distributed state databases. The controller operates in a transparent-relay mode in which a message is relayed to a network element and the response from the network element is returned directly to an originator. The relaying may be performed using SCCP relaying. The controller can operate in a transparent- proxy mode in which it generates a fresh message and sends it to a network element and receives the response from the network element, and in turn returns a response to the originator.
