摘要： The present invention is an apparatus of combining an imaging ultrasonic probe and a focused ultrasound probe to achieve ultrasound imaging guided focused ultrasound therapy techniques. The apparatus comprises a main body provided with a joint portion which can accommodate an imaging ultrasonic probe, a front end portion connected to the front end of the main body, and a focused ultrasonic probe comprising at least one piezoelectric sheet and provided between the main body and the front end portion. This technology can real-time monitor a treatment position and effect, and can feedback to adjust the treatment procedures or time and other parameters. The technology improves the quality and effectiveness of treatment and can use limited resources to improve medical standards.

摘要： Disclosed is a medical needle used for performing a piercing or insertion operation on an object repetitively, the medical needle comprising a needle body and a metallic glass material layer formed on a surface of the needle body, the metallic glass material layer comprising an alloy consisting of aluminum, zirconium, copper and tantalum. With the presence of the metallic glass material layer covering the needle body, the medical needle may maintain its sharpness after having performed multiple piercing or insertion operations to enhance durability, minimize the increase of maximum piercing or insertion force resulted from piercing or insertion operations, and decrease injury to the object caused by piercing or insertion operations.

The diagnostic method of present invention comprises the use of a novel tryptophan metabolite, 5-methoxytryptophan (5-MTP), as a diagnostic biomarker of inflammation. The present invention specially provides a highly specific competitive ELISA to measure 5-MTP level in human serum for gauging occurrence and severity of inflammatory diseases, including sepsis and systemic lupus.

摘要： Disclosed herein is a hinge antibody capable of being selectively activated in a target cell or tissue to treat a condition therein. The hinge antibody includes a functional antibody, two inhibitory domains and four cleavable linkers. The functional antibody is capable of treating the condition in an activated state, and has two light chains and two heavy chains. Each inhibitory domain includes a hinge domain of an immunoglobulin and consists of two peptide arms. Each cleavable linker includes a peptide substrate cleavable by an enzyme specifically or highly expressed in the target cell or tissue, and connects one of the peptide arms of the inhibitory domains to the N-terminal of one of the light chains and heavy chains of the functional antibody. Also disclosed herein are methods for preparing and using this hinge antibody.

摘要： The present invention relates to an isolated recombinant human lipidated survivin expressed in an Escherichia coli-based system. The isolated recombinant human lipidated survivin augments the expression levels of costimulatory molecules (MHC II, CD40, CD80, CD83, and CD86) and cytokines (IL-6, IL-12, and TNF-α). The results in the TC-1 tumor cell challenged animal model and the HLA-A11 transgenic mice suggest that the isolated recombinant human lipidated survivin can elicit immune responses against tumor growth and may be applied to survivin expressed tumor.
