    • It is presented a method, executed in a root sequence determiner for a base station controlling a first cell, the first cell being associated with at least one root sequence used for cell differentiation on a random access channel. The method comprises the steps of: obtaining information on root sequences of neighbouring cells; when a root sequence conflict is found between the first cell and a neighbouring cell, here denoted a conflict cell, determining if the conflict cell is of a higher priority than the first cell, the priorities of the first cell and the conflict cell being based on properties of the respective cells; and when the conflict cell is of a higher priority than the first cell, finding a new root sequence for the first cell, avoiding the root sequences of the neighbouring cells.

    • The invention relates to a method in a user equipment 4 for determination of timing of a Hybrid Automatic Repeat re-Request, HARQ, response. The user equipment 4 operates in a communication network 1 comprising a primary radio access technology system 2and a secondary radio access technology system 3. The user equipment 4 receives on at least one downlink carrier on the first radio access technology system 2 and on at least one downlink carrier on the second radio access technology system 3. The method comprises determining a downlink timing related to the secondary radio access technology system 3; determining a virtual uplink timing for HARQ response on the secondary radio access technology system 3 based on the downlink timing; determining an uplink timing related to the primary radio access technology system 2; and determining, based on the virtual uplink timing and the uplink timing for the primary radio access technology system 2, an uplink time instance for transmission of the HARQ response on an uplink carrier of the primary radio access technology system 2, wherein the HARQ response relates to data received on the downlink carrier on the secondary radio access technology system 3.     • It is presented a method for bandwidth allocation in a bandwidth allocation server of a digital videonetwork comprising a restricted channel being a link between a subscriber location and an access node. The method comprises: receiving a bandwidth reservation request to reserve bandwidth on the restricted channel, the bandwidth reservation request comprising a reservation start time; obtaining any existing bandwidth reservations for bandwidth on the restricted channel at least partly covered by the duration of the reservation request, the duration being delimited by the reservation start time; determiningwhether a bandwidth limit is exceeded by a combination of the bandwidth reservation request and the any existing bandwidth reservations, at any time covered by the bandwidth reservation request; when it is determined that the combination is under the bandwidth limit, handling an acceptance by sending a reservation accept response and storing a reservation corresponding to the bandwidth reservation request; and when it is determined that the combination exceeds the bandwidth limit, handling a rejection by sending a reservation reject response. A corresponding apparatus is also presented.
