    • Provided is a contactless fingerprint image obtaining apparatus using a mirror. The contactless fingerprint image obtaining apparatus obtains the entire region of a fingerprint using the mirror in a contactless manner. The entire region of the fingerprint includes a fingerprint region of the front direction coinciding with the optical axis of a single shooting unit, and fingerprint regions of left/right lateral sides that do not coincide with the optical axis. Accordingly, unwillingness of a user, distortion caused by contact of the user, quality reduction, which are the limitations of a related art contact type fingerprint image obtaining apparatus are solved. Simultaneously, a wide region of a fingerprint image including the lateral sides of a fingerprint that cannot be directly obtained by a related art contactless fingerprint image obtaining apparatus using only a single camera can be economically obtained.

Thus, the optical signal is distributed at an optical power with a desired magnitude. A manufacturing process margin can be widened and a length of a coupler for obtaining a certain optical power distribution becomes short. Also, a phase variation range due to the temperature control heater can be decreased, thereby reducing power consumption.

In the method, facial biometric feature information for each portion is extracted from the facial image of a user obtained by an image obtaining device such as a camera and a scanner. A virtual formation face or a virtual montage face, or a virtual baby face is automatically generated using the extracted facial biometric feature information for the each portion. A virtual formation face or a montage face, or a virtual baby face can be easily generated using only technology for extracting facial biometric feature information for each facial portion even without using an image mosaic technique or an image warping technique requiring a separate manual job for a facial portion to be transformed by a user which has been used in an existing virtual face formation method. Also, in the case where the virtual face generating method is applied to 2D and 3D virtual face formation simulation, a montage producing program, a face synthesis simulation for each portion, a virtual baby simulation, and a wired/wireless face formation program, an interest of a user can be increased.
