    • A prefabricated jig or tool (10) for use in positioning and aligning roof trusses (50) during frame construction includes a lateral brac portion (12) with a pair of downwardly-depending throat members (18.20), each adapted to releasably capture a truss component (e.g. constructed from 1 1/2 inch nominal thickness lumber). The throat members are spaced apart on the lateral brace portion a distance equal to the desired truss spacing (e.g., 24 inches on center).     • A container for radioactive waste, having a body member including a cavity portion for receiving and enclosing a quantity of radioactive waste, the body member comprising a mixture of heavy metals, cadmium (specifically for absorbing neutrons emitted from the subject rods), and high thermal conductivity metals. This composite material will capture all of the particles emitted by the subject rods, and approximately 80% of the gamma rays emitted. The container preferably includes at least one fin portion extending from the body member to enhance heat transfer with the ambient atmosphere. The gas is drawn into a sealed heat exchanger where it heats water or other fluid recruited to perform some useful work such as the generation of heat and/or power.

    • The invention provides a means for an enterprise, such as a healthcare provider, to simulate all the information it would normally receive from internal and external production systems such as laboratories, imaging systems, ADT systems, and accounting. The invention packages this simulated data into various versions of HL7, DICOM, EDI and XML. The simulated data is coded using coding standards such as SNOMED, ICD, CPT, HCPCS, LOINC, HCFA, ISO, FDB, ISO, ANSI, vendor, and customer data mapping tables. The invention simulates all patient demographics, as defined by each customer, and models its data based on statistically relevant distributions of outcomes. The invention communicates all messages between the simulated systems and a customer's system using message queues and port level communications. A customer, who is developing or implementing a new software product, can inject its system under development into the invention as though it were participating in a complete production environment. Likewise, a customer can define one or more devices to participate within its production environment, simulating the data a device of that type might generate.
