One method may include determining an edge characteristic associated with an interpolation point, the edge characteristic having an edge magnitude and an edge angle; selecting an interpolation filter in response to the edge angle; and determining a pixel value at the interpolation point using the selected interpolation filter. Other embodiments include edge-based interpolation followed by an adaptive sharpening filter. 摘要： A noise tolerant voltage controlled oscillator is described. The voltage controlled oscillator include a varactor element as part of an LC tank circuit. The varactor element is biased by a bias signal and a bias-dependent control signal. The bias-dependent control signal tunes the LC tank circuit. Because the control signal is bias-dependent, noise and other deleterious influences do not cause the varactor element to deviate in capacitance. Instead, the bias-dependent control signal is a tuning signal that is centered around the bias signal, which allows the varactor element to provide a constant capacitance in the event of a varying bias signal.

摘要： In an intra-block copy video encoding method, an encoder performs a hash-based search to identify a selected set of candidate blocks for prediction of an input video block. For each of the candidate blocks in the selected set, the encoder determines a correlation between, on the one hand, luma and chroma components of the input video block and, on the other hand, luma and chroma components of the respective candidate blocks. A predictor block is selected based on the correlation and is used to encode the input video block. In different embodiments, the correlation may be the negative of the sum of absolute differences of the components, may include a Jaccard similarity measure between respective pixels, or may be based on a Hamming distance between two high precision hash values of the input video block and the candidate block.

摘要： Systems and methods are described for encoding and decoding video using derived block vectors as predictors in intra block copy mode. In an exemplary encoding method, an encoder identifies at least a first candidate block vector for the prediction of an input video block, where the first candidate block vector points to a first candidate block. The encoder then identifies a first predictive vector (e.g. a block vector or a motion vector) that was used to encode the first candidate block. From the first candidate block vector and the first predictive vector, the encoder generates a derived predictive vector from the first candidate block vector and the first predictive vector. The encoder then encodes the video block in the bit stream using the derived predictive vector for the prediction of the input video block.

A subscribing application on the device sends a subscription request to the cognitive load service, where the subscription request identifies a set of one or more focus applications. The service periodically sends the cognitive load score to the subscribing application. The subscribing application adjusts its user interface based on the cognitive load score.

摘要： Systems and methods are provided for predicting user browsing behavior and developing a personalized pre-fetching strategy. In some embodiments, a user equipment entity identifies web pages that are linked from a page being visited by a user, and, based on a user model, determines pre-fetch weights for the linked pages. The user equipment then pre-fetches the web pages with weights above a pre-fetch threshold. In some embodiments, the pre-fetch strategy is generated by or with the assistance of a separate network entity, which may be a distributed logical entity. Policies may also be enforced, such as avoiding pre-fetching while a user is on the telephone, or avoiding pre-fetching of pages containing video.
