摘要： Systems for removing one or more contaminants from water are provided that can include a hydrate formation chamber assembly; a contaminated water diffusion assembly within the hydrate formation chamber assembly; a space between a wall of the hydrate formation chamber assembly and the diffusion assembly; and a guest compound conduit configured to provide a guest compound within the space and form a hydrate comprising water and the guest compound. Methods for removing one or more contaminants from water are provided that can include providing a contaminated water mixture and one or more guest compounds; forming a hydrate complex comprising water and the one or more guest compounds; and separating the water from the guest compounds to provide water with less contaminant. Mixtures are also provided that can include a liquid component comprising water and at least one contaminant, and a solid component comprising a hydrate complex. One embodiment of the system provides methods for production of excess electric power as a byproduct of the desalination process.

摘要： Plant supplement delivery assemblies are provided that can include an insert having collapsible insert sidewalls complimentary to the exterior sidewalls of the assembly housing, the collapsible insert sidewalls defining at least a portion of a container configured to house a plant supplement. Plant supplement delivery inserts are also provided that can include collapsible sidewalls extending between a discharge end and a butt end to define a container configured to house plant supplement. The butt end can be configured to operably engage a biased member, and the insert can further include a stem extending from the discharge end. The stem can define a conduit in fluid communication with the container. Methods for providing plant supplements include operably engaging a biased member with a butt end of a container to collapse sidewalls of the container and provide plant supplement from the container through a stem into a plant.

The stem can define a conduit in fluid communication with the container. Methods for providing plant supplements include operably engaging a biased member with a butt end of a container to collapse sidewalls of the container and provide plant supplement from the container through a stem into a plant.

The systems can include: a first vessel housing a first media and Th or Bi; a second vessel in fluid communication with the first vessel, the second vessel housing a second media and Pb; and a third vessel in fluid communication with the second vessel, the third vessel housing a third media and Ra, wherein at least one of the first, second, or third medias are different from the other media. Methods for separating Ra from Pb, Bi, and Th are provided, the methods can include: providing a first mixture comprising Ra, Pb, Bi, and/or Th; providing a system that can include: a first vessel housing a first media; a second vessel in fluid communication with the first vessel, the second vessel housing a second media; and a third vessel in fluid communication with the second vessel, the third vessel housing a third media; and exposing the first mixture to the first media within the first vessel then, through the fluid communication, exposing the first remainder to the second media in the second vessel, then, through fluid communication, exposing the next remainder to the third media in the third vessel, the exposing separating the Th and Bi from the Ra and Pb, and the Ra from the Pb. Methods for separating Ra from being associated with a media are also provided. The methods can include: exposing the Ra and media to a chelating agent to form a mixture comprising the Ra complexed with the chelating agent.

Methods for removing a catheter are provided that can include working a pair of opposing semi-round channeled jaws over a brace to free the brace of dermis engaged with the brace; and removing the catheter. Methods for removing a catheter are also provided that can include engaging a catheter tube below the dermis with a plurality of tips extending from individual opposing jaws to remove the catheter.

The fluid injector assembly can be configured to inject a liquid CO 2 /H 2 O-emulsion into the surrounding geological formation. CO 2 sequestration methods are provided that can include exposing a geological formation to a liquid CO 2 /H 2 O- emulsion to sequester at least a portion of the CO 2 from the emulsion within the formation. Hydrocarbon material recovery methods are provided that can include exposing a liquid CO 2 /H 2 O-emulsion to a geological formation having the hydrocarbon material therein. The methods can include recovering at least a portion of the hydrocarbon material from the formation.

摘要： A reloadable medicine injector and methods are described in which a barrel with a receiving cavity is adapted to slidably receive a syringe subassembly for axial movement therein. Upon removal of a safety and release of a syringe driver, the syringe driver moves forward and injects the syringe needle. A plurality of penetration controls are shown for controlling injection needle penetration depth. The penetration controls have an abutment and various lengths to provide different needle penetration depth positions. In one form of penetration control a sleeve is used against which the syringe or related parts contact. In another form the front return spring is used as a penetration control. A cushioning ring may be used to reduce syringe breakage. A load distribution and guide ring may be used to distribute loading applied to the syringe and help guide the moving syringe.
