摘要： A varistor array can include a monolithic body including a plurality of dielectric layers. A first varistor can be formed in the monolithic body. The first varistor can include a first external terminal on a first end of the monolithic body, a first plurality of electrodes connected with the first external terminal, a second external terminal on a second end of the monolithic body, and a second plurality of electrodes connected with the second external terminal. The second plurality of electrodes can be interleaved with the first plurality of electrodes and can overlap the first plurality of electrodes at an overlapping area that is insensitive to a relative misalignment between the first plurality of electrodes and the second plurality of electrodes when the misalignment is less than a threshold. A second varistor can be formed in the monolithic body that is distinct from the first varistor.

摘要： Priming systems and infusion assemblies are provided. For example, a priming system comprises a priming conduit having a priming portion and a pressure portion. The priming portion is in fluid communication with a first fluid source, with an inlet and an outlet for ingress and egress of a first fluid from the first fluid source. The pressure portion is in fluid communication with a second fluid source connected by a connector. Disposed within the priming conduit are a biasing member and a valve having an open position and a closed position. The biasing member is in operable communication with the valve to urge the valve into the closed position such that the valve defaults to the closed position. The open position allows the first fluid to flow from the inlet to the outlet and the closed position prevents the first fluid from flowing from the inlet to the outlet.

摘要： Methods for detecting tubing in a pump assembly of a pump system are provided. For example, a method comprises connecting a power supply to each of a plurality of pump motors of the pump system. Each pump motor of the plurality of pump motors has a power supply cable configured to connect to the power supply and drives a pump head of a plurality of pump heads of the pump system. The method also comprises sensing a motor current from each of the power supply cables, determining whether tubing is loaded in each pump head, and, if tubing is not loaded in a pump head, then disconnecting from the power supply the power supply cable of the pump motor associated with the pump head in which tubing is not loaded. Systems for detecting the presence of tubing within a pump head of a plurality of pump heads also are provided.
