    • A power storing container replacement and charging method and system which allows continuous/uninterrupted power enables a user to continuously use a device without the device being relegated to a wired device for an extended period of time. The method and system includes an apparatus which is able to retain a power storing container for charging, and then receive a device with another power storing container which is replaced with the charged power storing container contained in the apparatus. The system reduces the wait time for a power storing container to charge and encourages use of the device without fear of the draining all the power from the device being unable to use the device for even a short period of time. The system also allows the power storing container in the device to be replaced without the device losing power and without involving any complicated steps from the user.

    • Systems for positioning a functional element, such as an optical lens, include a housing, a primary guide pin coupled to the housing, a functional group that includes the functional element, and a vibrational actuator assembly. The functional group is movably coupled with the primary guide pin and includes a first friction surface and a second friction surface. The first and second friction surfaces are oriented relative to one another at one of an obtuse angle and a straight angle. The vibrational actuator assembly is substantially registered relative to the housing and includes a first drive element and a second drive element. The first drive element is configured to interact with the first friction surface and the second drive element is configured to interact with the second friction surface. The vibrational actuator assembly operates to translate the functional group. Some embodiments include position sensing elements configured to detect position(s) of the functional element(s), and control system(s) configured to operate the actuators based on feedback fromthe position sensing system(s).

    • Fan blades within a fan assembly are rotated in a first rotational direction, thereby generating airflow from above the fan blades downward past the fan blades. Airborne particles adhere to the surface of the fan blades as the air flows past. The fan direction is then reversed maintained at a relatively low rotational rate. A fluid is dispensed onto the hub of the fan blades. Due to the centripetal force of the spinning fan blades, the fluid is spread thin across the top surface of the fan blades and the liquid film washes the blade of the fan, removing particulates from the fan blade. The solution is pushed outward against the inner wall of the fan housing forming a fluid meniscus. The fan speed is increased to push the fluid meniscus into an annular reservoir. The collected fluid is then vacuumed and consolidated into the collection vessel.
