A method of using said animal collar is also described.

摘要： A system for supplying power transcutaneously to an implantable device implanted within a subject is provided. The system includes an external connector including one of a microneedle array and a microwire holder. The system further includes a power cable electrically coupled to the external connector and configured to supply power to the one of the microneedle array and the microwire holder, and an internal connector configured to be implanted within the subject and electrically coupled to the implantable device, the internal connector including the other of the microneedle array and the microwire holder. The microneedle array includes a plurality of electrically conductive microneedles, the microwire holder includes a plurality of electrical contacts, and the microwire holder is configured to engage the microneedle array such that the plurality of electrically conductive microneedles extend through the skin of the subject and electrically couple to the plurality of electrical contacts.

摘要： The present disclosure provides electroporation systems, methods of controlling electroporation systems to limit electroporation arcs through intracardiac catheters, and catheters for electroporation systems. One method of controlling an electroporation system including a direct current (DC) energy source, a return electrode connected to the DC energy source, and a catheter connected to the DC energy source is disclosed. The catheter has a at least one catheter electrode. The method includes positioning the return electrode near a target location within a body and positioning the catheter electrode adjacent the target location within the body. A system impedance is determined with the return electrode positioned near the target location and the catheter electrode positioned within the body. The system impedance is adjusted to a target impedance to limit arcing from the catheter electrode.

The system includes a model construction system configured to be coupled to the medical device and acquire data points corresponding to positions of the position sensors. The computer-based model construction system is further configured to establish a coordinate system, calculate a coordinate for each position sensor, estimate a set of true parameters describing the medical device including a curvature term and a torsion term, calculate a measurement error for each position sensor based on a stiffness parameter, compute smoothed data points for the position sensors based on (i) a function of the estimated set of true parameters and the coordinates of the position sensors, and (ii) a weighting of the measurement error, generate an image of the medical device using the smoothed data points, and display the image.
