摘要： A sealing mechanism for a waste storage container includes a waste storage container that has a body, a lid and a cartridge adapted to be positioned in the body. The cartridge has a continuous length of storage film therein. The storage film emanates through a gap between a rim and a core tube of the cartridge and is folded down through a core opening in the core tube into an interior space of the body of the waste storage container. The sealing mechanism includes an actuator accessible from outside of the body, a gear assembly operably connected to the actuator, a retaining assembly that holds stationary a dispensed portion of the storage film in the interior space of the body during a twist-closure operation, and a plunger operably connected to the gear assembly.

摘要： A handle for a safety razor is provided that includes an elongated hand gripping structure with a cartridge support structure at an end of the hand gripping structure. The hand gripping structure includes a frame and a first and second gripping pad. Each gripping pad can have a thermoplastic elastomeric gripping layer and a nonelastomeric thermoplastic support layer. The first gripping pad has an extension that cooperates with an opening of the frame to provide a snap fit joint between the frame and the first gripping pad. The second gripping pad has an extension that cooperates with the extension of the first gripping pad to prevent disengagement of the snap fit from the opening of the frame. The extension of the first gripping pad can be bifurcated and the extension of the second gripping pad can be received in the bifurcation.

摘要： A multi-function razor cartridge that can be used for hair trimming and normal shaving has a housing including a retractable guard and at least one razor blade having a cutting edge. The razor cartridge also has a comb mounted to the housing that is movable by a user between a non-operable position and an operable position. When the comb is in the non-operable position the razor cartridge can be used for a normal shaving operation. As the comb is moved to the operable position for hair trimming, the guard is retracted so that it will not interfere with the passage of longer hairs between the teeth of the comb.
