摘要： The preset disclosure provides chimeric polypeptides comprising a cage polypeptide comprising a degron, wherein the degron is sequestered or caged. Upon activation by a key polypeptide, the degron becomes active. The degron can recruit an ubiquitin ligase and a lysine in the degron or surrounding sequence be ubiquitinated. The ubiquitinated chimeric polypeptide is marked for degradation, together with any biologically active molecule attached to the chimeric polypeptide. The chimeric polypeptides of the present disclosure can be incorporated, for example, to chimeric antigen receptors (CAR). Accordingly, in response to the administration of a key polypeptide or endogenous expression of a key polypeptide mediated, for example, by an inducible promoter, the amount of CAR expressed on the surface of an immune cell can be modulated.

The approaches described herein specifically leverage scalable cloud computing features to facilitate highly parallel, granular image processing. Front-end image processing techniques allow for generation of a user interface that may provide automated material selection with human operator refinement. The user interface may be a web-based design that provides browse version images at lower resolutions to improve performance of the user interface and generating mosaic recipe. In turn, the mosaic recipe may be provided to back-end image processing that coordinates strip-level jobs and tile-level jobs and highly parallel fashion scalable cloud computing nodes. In turn, very large-scale mosaic images may be generated from geospatial images in computationally and cost-effective manner.

Upon fully seating the orthopedic fastener relative to the surgical hardware, the distal end of the orthopedic fastener may align with one of a set of offset indicia calibrated relative to a known length of the orthopedic fastener. In turn, an offset value for the surgical hardware may be determined that may, for example, be used to augment measurements of bore lengths taken for a bore into which an orthopedic fastener is to be disposed.

摘要： Hydraulically amplified self-healing electrostatic (HASEL) transducers having a composite, multi-layered structure. Specifically, a layered composite structure is contemplated such that different ones of the layers are selected for electrical properties and physical properties, respectively. Specifically, combinations of fluid dielectric layers, solid dielectric layers, electrodes, and outer layers may be used. The fluid and solid dielectric layers may be selected for favorable electrical properties and the outer layers may be selected for beneficial physical properties. An example of a composite structure includes individually actuatable fluid dielectric volumes that may have different actuation modalities. Further still, transducers may be provided with gaseous dielectric, fluid dielectric, or a combination thereof.
