    • An oil strainer assembly is used to filter oil in an internal combustion engine of an automotive vehicle. The oil strainer assembly includes a strainer element and a housing. The housing has a first shell and a second shell. The housing has an inlet formed in one of the first and second shells and an inlet formed in the other of the first and second shells. The strainer element is disposed between the first shell and the second shell for filtering debris from oil passing between the inlet and the outlet of the housing. Each of the first and second shells has an outer wall. The first shell having a first flange for retaining the outer wall of the second shell. The first shell further having an outwardly extending tab for retaining a portion of the outer wall of the second shell opposite the first flange. The tab being movable away from the outer wall of the second shell to allow removal of the outer wall of the second shell from the first flange of the first shell along a generally radial direction.

    • A system and method for self-applying a French manicure using an adjustable form includes positioning a base member over a user's finger so that the nail is located within a nail receiving opening. An outer edge of a shield member wall is positioned at a position relative to the nail receiving opening to expose the tip of the nail. A first paint type is applied to the exposed nail tip using an applicator means. The first paint type is a water-based, non-toxic acrylic paint and the applicator means atomizes the paint to apply a plurality of droplets to the exposed nail. The shield member is repositioned relative to the nail receiving opening to expose the entire nail surface. A second enamel nail paint type is applied to the exposed nail surface to seal the first paint type.

    • A molding composition formulation is provided that includes a thermoset cross-linkable polymeric resin and an ultraviolet light absorber. A shrinkage-reducing polymeric additive is present in the formulation from between 3 and 30 total weight percent, such that upon cure a linear shrinkage rate of within ±1.0% is obtained. Shrinkage-reducing polymeric additives include a condensation polyester of glycol and a polyacid or acid anhydride, polyvinyl acetate, polymethylmethacrylate, or polyether polyol. A vehicle body component formed through a sheet molding composition formulation is provided as recited above, and includes a fiberglass filler. A process for producing a vehicle body component exposed to ultraviolet light upon environmental exposure of a vehicle includes molding at an elevated temperature above 20 o C the vehicle component from the formulation as detailed above. The process is followed by trimming the molded vehicle component prior to assembly.

    • A cementitious material is provided that includes a phosphate based component and an alkali earth component. The alkali earth ion component has as a majority source a calcium aluminate calcium ion source of dodeca-calcium hepta-aluminate, or tricalcium aluminate. Magnesium oxide that has been fused and crushed to a size of less than 200 microns, alone or in combination with the calcium aluminate calcium ion source is also provided as the alkali earth ion component. When the phosphate based component and alkali earth ion components are combined in appropriate proportions, a rigid structure is obtained. A cementitious material formulation is also provided having an aqueous acidic phosphate solution as a part B and an alkali earth ion source as a part A that includes calcium aluminate, magnesium oxide or a combination thereof. Other additives include strength enhancing insoluble phosphate additive, an impurity metal reaction suppressant, tackifiers, anti-foaming agents, and the like.
