摘要： A process for producing a branched polyisobutylene polymer involves polymerizing isobutylene in the presence of a branching agent, the branching agent being a polyfarnesene having 5 or more farnesene units. The resulting branched polymer has improved green strength and creep compliance. The polyfarnesene may be a homopolymer having a number average molecular weight in a range of 1,000-130,000 g/mol. Alternatively, the polyfarnesene can be a copolymer comprising a comonomer such as a conjugated diene or a styrene. The branched polyisobutylene polymer products are useful for the manufacture of articles such as seals, gaskets, adhesives, chewing gum, roofing material, or viscosity modifiers.

摘要： A customer's affinity towards a plurality of mattresses displayed in a brick and mortar store is determined. The probability of the customer purchasing at least one of the displayed mattresses is extrapolated based on the customer's affinity towards each of the mattresses. Customer engagement with each of the mattresses is determined based on the pressure data obtained from embedded pressure sensors responsive to the body pressure. The pressure data and the information indicative of a total number of positions taken up by the customer on each of the mattresses, time spent by the customer on each of the mattresses in each of the positions, and the total time spent by the customer on each of the mattresses are fed to a neural network as inputs, with the neural network determining an affinity score indicative of the customer's affinity towards each of the mattresses.

Situating the fan assembly in the container provides a quieter operating spreader and distributes the center of gravity of the spreader forward to reduce overloading of the rear axle, to avoid overbalancing the spreader at the rear axle and to reduce undesirable torque of the frame at the rear.

摘要： A polyisoolefin-based polymer composition having a multimodal molecular weight distribution is described, which can be prepared by the late addition of a chain transfer agent to the polymerization process. The polymer composition has a low molecular weight fraction having a peak molecular weight (M p ) of less than about 100,000 g/mol and a high molecular weight fraction having a peak molecular weight (M p ) of greater than about 250,000 g/mol, the low molecular weight fraction present in the composition in an amount less than the high molecular weight fraction. Cured articles produced from the polyisoolefin-based polymer composition exhibit improved processability while maintaining physical properties.
