    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved method, system, and device dealing with a disadvantage in a conventional art.
      SOLUTION: The method and the related system of implanting vertebral anchors such as a pedicle screw assembly includes: a step of implanting a number of pedicle screws 10a, 10b, and 10c into a series of vertebrae; a step of attaching a number of provisional posts 14a, 14b, and 14c including provisional saddles 12a, 12b, and 12c to the pedicle screws 10a, 10b, and 10c, respectively; a step of bending a rod to conform to a desired alignment of the provisional saddles 12a, 12b, and 12c; a step of removing the provisional posts 14a, 14b, and 14c from the pedicle screw heads 11a, 11b, and 11c; and a step of connecting the bent rod to the pedicle screw heads 11a, 11b, and 11c.
