    • A manual razor having a pair of water passages in the shaving head for cleaning of the blade area. The passages extend into opposite ends of the shaving head and are separated by a partition. Water is applied to the passages by placing them under a faucet. Outlet slots direct the water from the passages to the blade area and into the gap between the blades of a two edge razor to remove accumulated shaving lather and whiskers. Curved baffles are spaced along each passage to distribute the water along the outlet slots for thorough cleaning of the blades.

    • A water heater in which water is heated by microwave energy. A tank which holds water is separated by a horizontal partition into a relatively small upper chamber and a larger lower chamber. Incoming cold water enters the upper chamber and is heated by a magnetron which produces microwave energy. A transfer conduit accommodates the flow of hot water from the upper chamber to the lower chamber when water is discharged from the lower chamber through an outlet pipe. When the water in the lower chamber cools, a pump returns it to the upper chamber for reheating. The pump and magnetron are controlled by thermostats which maintain the water in the upper and lower chambers at different temperature levels.

    • A water heater (10) in which water is heated by microwave energy. A tank (11) which holds water is separated by a horizontal partition (20) into a relatively small upper chamber (22) and a larger lower chamber (24). Incoming cold water enters the upper chamber (22) and is heated by a magnetron (32) which produces microwave energy. A transfert conduit (34) accommodates the flow of hot water from the upper chamber (22) to the lower chamber (24) when water is discharged from the lower chamber (24) through an outlet pipe (36). When the water in the lower chamber (24) cools, a pump (42) returns it to the upper chamber (22) for reheating. The pump (42) and magnetron (32) are controlled by thermostats (50, 52, 54) which maintain the water in the upper and lower chambers (22, 24) at different temperature levels.
