    • A plant for treating the fraction car fluff comprises a first treatment line consisting of one or more ferromagnetic separators (1), followed by one or more eddy current separators (2) and one or more inductive sensor-based separators (3), as well as a preliminary screen (4) that divides the material into a superfine fraction of up to 6 mm in size and a fine fraction sized 6÷20 mm that is fed to the first line of treatment, while the superfine fraction is fed to a separate second line of treatment consisting of a crushing mill (5) followed by a first screen (6) which discards the fraction of material sized up to 0,8 mm, followed by one or more ferromagnetic separators (7) and one or more eddy current separators (8), followed by a second screen (10) dividing the material into a plurality of different dimensional fractions fed to a corresponding plurality of separating tables (9).

    • An electromagnetic lifter for moving hot materials includes a ferromagnetic yoke formed by a horizontal core and two vertical polarities, coils wound around the core and enclosed in a container, a non-magnetic baffle arranged between the vertical polarities and below the container at a distance of at least 40 mm to protect the container from heat radiated by the hot material. The electromagnetic lifter also includes a first space between the container and the plurality of vertical polarities that maintains a first predetermined distance between the container and the plurality of vertical polarities, a second space between the container and the core that maintains a second predetermined distance between the container and the core, and a third space between the container and the non-magnetic baffle that allows a convective flow of air. The electromagnetic lifter also includes side spacers disposed in the first space and top spacers disposed in the second space.

    • A lifter with electro-permanent magnets is provided. It has an external bearing structure closed at the bottom by a plate, provided with a heat shield, and pole pieces secured under the respective poles and protruding from the bottom plate. Each of the electro-permanent magnets has a reversible magnet arranged on top of one of the poles, of a fixed polarization magnet formed by a plurality of blocks placed along the lateral faces of the pole and of a coil arranged around the reversible magnet to cause the reversal of the polarization of the latter by means of an electrical pulse. An airtight air gap between 1 and 4 mm high is formed between each pole piece and the respective pole through the interposition of a plate of thermal insulation material that resists high temperatures provided at each pole with a rectangular window slightly smaller in size than the pole itself, with the top sides of the pole pieces and/or the bottom sides of the poles being provided with peripheral recesses suitable to act as seats for the positioning of the plate.
