摘要： A label application device, which holds a label strip stationary under a rest condition, and prints, advances and separating labels from a backing ship at successive label positions. It holds stationary a backing strip of the label strip and an advancing wheel for the backing trip so that they are not shifted when the backing strip extends out of a housing main body and is cut. A driving mechanism has an stopper operable to hold stationary the rotation of the advancing wheel, which advances the label strip and the backing strip in the advancing direction. The advancing wheel engages the backing strip and advances the strip in accordance with the retraction and the release of a movable lever. The driving mechanism has a stopper which detachably couples on the advancing wheel for being "driven by each label pitch, and holds the backing strip stationary not to be transferred in the advancing direction in a rest condition.

摘要： Many labels are adhered to a label tape(I). a hole(6) penetrates the tape between the labels(3). This tape is established on a tape supplier(22) and transported to the label releasing device(23). A conveying portion(24) has a conveying drum(26) and a hook(27) which are assembled with the two body plates(11a, 11b) by a pivot(25). This drum has pins which join with the label tape holes. The releasing portion(30) has an upper part, attached on the body plates, and an under part, attached on a moveable bottom cover. The label tape is supplied between these parts. The labels are released from the tape by converting the label band(2). A release helping app. is attached on the bottom cover and provides a little clearance between the releasing portion of the label and the tape.

摘要： A system and method are defined for modifying functionality of a printer that is provided with firmware for controlling printing operations. First programming code is developed that, when executed on a computer readable medium, interfaces with the printer's firmware and modifies the functionality of the printer. The first programming code is written in a first programming language, such as the LUA programming language, and the firmware is written in a second programming language other than the first programming language. Thereafter, the first programming code is executed on the computer readable, and the functionality of the printer is modified as a function of the executed first programming code interfacing with the firmware. The firmware is not modified by the interfacing.
