    • A device for detecting rotating positions of brushless motors comprises m-phase driving coils (L) which are energized in both the positive and negative directions; driving magnet (1) which is counterposed to the coils (L) and has driving magnetic poles of N and S alternately arranged so that the magnet (1) can rotate together with a rotating shaft; position detecting magnetic means (N+) which is provided on at least one of the magnetic poles (N and S) of the magnet (1) and has the same polarity as that of the magnetic pole; magnetic detectors (2a, 2b, and 2c) which are arranged opposed to the magnet (1) and detect the magnetic fields of both the driving magnetic poles (N and S) and magnetic means (N+); a brushless motor drive circuit (3) which supplies a driving current to the coils (L) in accordance with output signals from the detectors (2a, 2b, and 2c); and synthesizing means (20) which synthesizes a rotational position signal from the output signals of the detectors (2a, 2b, and 2c), the counter-electromotive voltage waveform of the coils (L), and reference voltage (COM). Since the device is adapted to obtain one pulse per revolution of a motor, the device does not require any conventionally used PG sensor, PG magnet, etc. The elimination of such sensors and magnets reduces the device cost. Further, since no space is required for the PG sensor and its wiring, the size of the substrate can be reduced.

    • A music box is arranged for increased compactness. The music box includes a comb (5) having vibrating teeth, a drum (4) with a rotational axis with a plurality of pins on an outer surface for engaging ends of said teeth, a coil spring having a winding shaft for driving the drum, an accelerating gear row for accelerating the rotation speed of the spring winding shaft, a braking member (7) engaging with the gear row for braking and a base frame (1) for transmitting the vibration of the comb to a mounting member. The rotational axis of the drum and the spring shaft are arranged vertical to the base frame and the spring shaft is substantially centered on the frame. The drum, comb, accelerating gear and brake are disposed about the centered spring shaft to provide a more compact arrangement.

The present invention develops an Automatic Guided Pallet (AGP) that is suitable for one-by-one operation and can traffic (go and return) between each process. The present system can be used in a flexible manufacturing system where the volume of production is relatively low and there are a wide variety of products to be made. 2) A manufacturing line design support system. One embodiment is that firstly, an operator inputs system design requirements of a manufacturing line design such as a working time of each process, an operating rate, plant and equipment cost and the like, furthermore, the weight (importance) of each of the above requirements is inputted.
