    • Provided is a steam sterilization device designed to shorten sterilization work time while being able to provide an appropriate temperature distribution. A steam sterilization device (30) provided with: a sterilization tank (32), which houses the object to be sterilized and which performs sterilization of the object being sterilized by maintaining the supplied steam at a prescribed temperature and prescribed pressure; a steam-supplying tube (41) for supplying the steam into the sterilization tank (32); and a steam-supplying tube valve (44) for controlling the steam flow rate flowing through the steam-supplying tube (41). The steam-supplying tube (41) is provided with a diameter such that the interior of the sterilization tank (32) can achieve a pressure increase rate of 100 kPa/min or more. The device is provided with a control unit (74), which controls the steam-supplying tube valve (44) so as to be fully open in a conditioning process in which steam introduction into and exhausting from the inside of the sterilization tank (32) are performed repeatedly, and controls the degree of opening of the steam-supplying tube valve (44) in the sterilization process after the conditioning process so as to give a prescribed steam supply rate.

    • The present invention can solve such a problem that a conventional tissue piece treating apparatus has difficulty of reduction in size and restriction on installation and stopping subsequent treatment operations when the amount of chemical supplied to a processing chamber is insufficient. The tissue piece treating apparatus comprises: new chemical tanks 15, 17 being integrally attached to both sidewall faces of a main body of the apparatus respectively, having larger capacities than a plurality of chemical tanks 14, 16 in which chemicals with different concentrations are stored for performing immersion treatment of a tissue piece accommodated in a processing chamber 12, having inner wall faces respectively reinforced by reinforcing members, and storing unused new chemicals of the same types as the chemicals stored in the chemical tanks 14, 16; pipes being extended from the new chemical tanks 15, 17 and connected to a selection valve 30 so as to supply the new chemicals stored in the new chemical tanks 15, 17 to the processing chamber 12; and a control section 38 controlling the selection valve 30, an open/close valve 32 and a pump 34 so as to supply the new chemical of an amount corresponding to an insufficiency of the amount of the chemical supplied from the new chemical tanks 15, 17 to the processing chamber 12 when a detection sensor 36 detects that the amount of the chemical supplied to the processing chamber 12 is insufficient.

    • Disclosed is a device for sticking a cover glass wherein the issues of a conventional device for sticking a slide glass, for always projecting a slide glass provided, on one end side thereof, with a describing portion from the level of a protection liquid in a storage container and storing the slide glass therein are solved. A device for sticking a cover glass to a sample applied to a slide glass (12) provided, on one end side thereof, with a describing portion through an enclosure agent comprises a basket (22) which stores a protection liquid for protecting the sample of the slide glass (12) and into which the plurality of slide glasses (12) are inserted, a storage container (20) for immersing the basket (22) in the protection liquid such that the whole slide glass (12) is immersed in the protection liquid, a lifting/feeding device (36) for lifting the basket (22) to project one end side of the slide glass (12) from the level of the protection liquid and feeding the basket (22) sequentially to the position of a detection sensor (42) for detecting the position on one end side of the slide glass (12) projecting from the protection liquid, a take-out device (24) for gripping the side surface on one end side of the slide glass (12) detected by the detection sensor (42) and taking out the slide glass (12) from the protection liquid, and a cage (34) for containing the slide glass (12) mounting the cover glass on the sample and stuck thereto.
