摘要： In a vehicular lever switch having a resistor (52) at a fixed contact plate (50) to be combined with a pivoting knob (40), when a passenger charged with static electricity touches the lever (10), the resistor (52) is to be prevented from being damaged. A fixed contact plate (75) is arranged with a resistor (52) and conductors (54,55) and extended from both ends thereof in a ring-like shape to constitute a fixed contact. Further, an extended portion extended in a circular arc shape is formed on an outer side of the resistor (52) with a gap from the conductor (54,55). Even when the hand of a passenger charged with static electricity touches a vicinity of a pivoting knob (40) and the static electricity is applied to the fixed contact plate (75), the static electricity flows to the extended portion and discharged via the conductor (54,55) and a terminal (56,57). Thereby, the resistor (52) is not damaged by static electricity. Further, it is not necessary to ensure a distance from an end edge of the pivoting knob (40) to the fixed contact plate (75) to be long in order to avoid propagation of static electricity and therefore, a degree of freedom of a shape of the lever (10) can be enhanced.

摘要： The object is to provide a rotary connector in which the flat cable is not damaged when the rotary connector is correctly assembled, and the flat cable can be cut off easily when the user operates the steering wheel to which the rotary connector is incorrectly assembled, thus an accidental firing of the air bag is prevented. The rotary connector has a flat cable 4 with one end connected to a terminal strap 14 and the other end connected to a supporting member 11. The terminal strap 14 is located between an inner wall 7c of the stator housing 1 and a guide 9 disposed near the inner wall 7c. The guide 9 has a small-width strap 9d with a curved surface in contact with the flat cable 4. The flat cable 4 is routed through the gap between the inner wall 7c of the stator housing 1 and the small-width strap 9d into a space G in the stator housing 1.

Wire leads (11) jutting from the switches are led to the lower part of the casing (1) through the recessed portion (24b), thus facilitating assembly as compared with a structure of wiring through a through-hole (24c) at the center of the rotating shaft.
