摘要： PURPOSE: To prepare a pharmaceutical composition, comprising a mixture of a benzothiazepine derivative (a calcium antagonist) with an azetidine-2- carboxylic acid/proline/pipercolic acid derivative [an angiotensin-converting enzyme(ACE) inhibitor] and useful for treating hypertension. CONSTITUTION: This pharmaceutical composition is obtained by including a mixture of a compound represented by formula I [R is hydroxy, amino or a lower alkoxy; R and R are each H, a lower alkyl or a phenyl-lower alkyl; R is H or R -CO (R is a lower alkyl, phenyl, etc.); R is H, hydroxy or a lower alkyl; (m) is 1-3; (n) is 0-2] or its salt with a compound represented by formula II (R ' is a substitutable phenyl; R ' is H or a lower alkanoyl; R ' and R ' are each a lower alkyl; X is H or a halogen; Y is a 2-3C alkylene) or its salt and preparing the composition according to a conventional method. The compound represented by formula II (diltiazem) is compound with the compound represented by formula I (captopril) at (2:1) to (3:1) weight ratio of the compounds represented by formulas II:I. The composition can be prepared as an intravenous and an oral administration forms.
