摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved vehicle seat for children capable of adjusting the tilt of the seat without requiring to lift a child from the seat when tilting is to be made only through a minimum increase of the expense structural. SOLUTION: The vehicle seat 1 for children is composed of two parts, a seat shell 2 and an insert 3 admitted therein in the movable condition. The insert 3 is in the upright seating position distinguished by a bold line, while a back rest 9 is in alignment approximately with the back rest region 5 of the seat shell 2. When a hand wheel 21 is turned counterclockwise, the seating surface 8 moves ahead within the position indicated by a dash-and-dot line. As the back rest 9 conducts only a counter-pivoting rotation round a rotary shaft bearing 14 within the region of the top edge 11, a transition region 10 between the back rest 9 and the seating surface 8 also moves along a circular path. 摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat for a vehicle furnished with constitution capable of preventing deformation of an upper rail by a load applied through a buckle of a seat belt at the time of vehicle collision without hurting an occupant as well as favourable in outer appearance. SOLUTION: The seat 1 for the vehicle is furnished with a lower rail 3 connected to a vehicle structural body and the upper rail 4 installed on the seat structural body on both left and right sides. The upper rail 4 is guided in the inside of the lower rail 3 and free to adjust between a plural number of seat positions in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle against the lower rail 3. The lower rail 4 and the upper rail 3 are engaged with each other and form a closed cross-section shape. A reinforcing member 12 to reinforce the upper rail is arranged along the longitudinal direction of the upper rail 4 in a structural space 10 partitioned by the closed cross-section shape.

A component transmitted to the upper rail 5 is smaller than the one transmitted to a lower rail 4, so that a risk of the upper rail 5 coming off the lower rail 4 is reduced.

In this case, a two armed lever 40 is pivoted on the fixed joint part 11 by a pin 44, one leg 41 is engaged with the stopper 13, and the other end of a spring 27 connected to the operating lever 22 is coupled to the other leg 42, a projecting part 45 provided on the leg 42 being freely engaged and disengaged with and from the engagement notch 39.
