    • An evaporator for liquid gases comprises a closed cylindrical heat-conducting container (1) with an inlet (5) for liquid gas and an outlet (6) for evaporated gas positioned in the vicinity of either end of the container (1). By means of an interior room-divider (9) in the form of a heat-conducting core element (9), comprising a central portion (10) detained in an end wall (4) of the container, said central portion having a central bore (11) for receiving a heating element (12) and room-dividing rib portions (13) extending radially from the central portion, which portions reach the wall (2) of the container (1) in heat-transferring contact therewith. The annular room between the central portion (10) and the wall of the container (1) is divided into a number of parallel and axial flow ducts (14), which are evenly distributed in the peripheral direction and extend over the major part of the length of the container (1) with the exception of two end portions positioned opposite the gas inlet (5) and the gas outlet (6), respectively. A gas temperature sensor (18) is arranged in one of the ducts. The walls (2) of the container (1) and the core element (9) with the central portion (10) may preferably be made from extruded aluminium pieces.

    • A valve device serving to prevent overfilling of portable containers, particularly liquid gas cylinders, includes a ball which is freely rotatable relative to a spherical seating face in a casing having a filling channel extending to said seating face. The ball has a passage which in the prescribed filling position communicates with the channel, and the ball is through a rod and a flexible link connected to a load member. As long as this load member is above the liquid level, it tends to keep the ball, and thus its passage in a given orientation so that the communication is broken if the container is tilted away from the prescribed filling position.When the liquid level has reached a predetermined height, the load member acts as a float so as to interrupt the filling operation by causing the ball to change its orientation.

    • A two-stage reduction valve for gaseous fluids consists of a high-pressure assembly with a high-pressure diaphragm (10) actuating a valve member disposed in the throat of a gas cylinder and of a low-pressure assembly with a likewise diaphragm-operated valve member (21) positioned in a gas duct (18) extending from the high-pressure assembly. A closing rod (30) connected with an operating handle (41) is restrictedly displaceably connected with a diaphragm spindle (14) firmly connected with the high-pressure diaphragm (10) and has at its upper end an essentially cylindrical bore (43) to displaceably receive the lower end of the closing rod (30). The upward circular mouth (44) of the bore (43) has a reduced diameter and the closing rod (30) has at its lower end a head (45) with a width larger than said reduced diameter but with such a shape that it may be inserted into the bore (43) through the mouth (44) of the bore with the closing rod (30) inclined in relation to the axis of the diaphragm spindle (14), but when inserted it is prevented from being pulled out from the bore.
