    • Provided is a sintered flux for submerged arc welding which is applied to austenite stainless steel welding. The flux includes 12.0-20.0wt% SiO 2 , 18.0-27.0wt% Al 2 O3, 6.0-12.0wt% ZrO 2 6.0-12.0wt% CaO, 7.0-16.0wt% CaF 2, 2.0-5.0wt% MnO, 20.0-29.0wt% MgO, 1.5-4.5wt% Na 2 0 3 , K 2 0, Li 2 0, or a combination thereof, and a remainder including Fe and inevitable impurities, on the basis of the entire weight of the flux. Therefore, it is possible to provide a sintered flux for submerged arc welding which has excellent arc stability and slag detachability during welding, prevents welding defects such as poke marks and pits, and has excellent bead shape.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-plated wire for gas shield arc welding, which can stabilize the arc in welding, and generates few spattering, and is excellent in its feed-ability.
      SOLUTION: The surface of the wire has portions recessed in the negative (-) direction (toward the center of the wire) based on a smooth working surface in the circumferential direction. It is preferable that the ratio of the total length of the smooth working surface within the measured length to the measured length of the surface of the wire in the circumferential direction is within the range from 50 to 95%. Further, the surface of the wire is coated with a surface treatment agent having a density of 0.03 to 0.70 g per 1 kg of the wire. Preferably, the surface treatment agent is composed of at least one of animal oil, vegetable oil, mineral oil, mixed oil, and synthetic oil. Therefore, the wire can come into stable contact with a contact tip even if a copper plated layer does not exist on the surface of the wire. As a result, the non-plated wire for gas shield arc welding, which wire does not accumulate powder inside a conduit cable and the contact tip even for a long welding time, can be achieved.
