摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wound treatment apparatus for applying a fluid to a wound to be used together with a vacuum bandage of such a type as to suck and remove the fluid from the wound.
SOLUTION: The wound treatment apparatus 2 includes a control unit including an alarm and a display to display an alarm log to provide information on the actuation of the alarm. The display also displays information to instruct a user how to operate the wound treatment apparatus 2. A method of calibrating the control unit is also disclosed. The control unit includes a canister 26 for collecting waste material from the vacuum wound vantage 14; a fluid source 24 for irrigating the wound; and a door for at least partially covering the fluid source 24.

The bandage is connectable to a vacuum source and may include a flexible cover positioned over the wound and a collar coupled to the cover. The cover includes a port and is configured to seal to a patient's healthy skin surrounding the wound. The collar may be coupled to the cover and include a passageway in communication with the port of the cover. The passageway is configured to receive at least a portion of a tube in communication with the vacuum source. The bandage may also include a sealer coupled to the collar. The sealer may be configured to provide a substantially airtight seal between the tube and the passageway to create a sealed environment capable of maintaining a negative pressure between the cover and the wound surface.
