摘要： Shoes for worn or new paving augers that can be installed over and in conformity with the paving auger to provide additional life for the auger. A first wall of the auger shoe is formed with a bore, an enlarged diameter bore and a countersunk hole so as to accommodate either a cap screw with a hexagonal head, a plow bolt with a square shoulder, a bolt with a flat head, a bolt with a hexagonal head, a hexagonal nut, a flat head screw or a flat head socket type screw, and still provide a flush seat for the fastener in the front wall of the auger shoe to thereby maintain an unobstructed surface on the front wall of the auger shoe. In addition, the auger shoes can be installed against both the front and back walls of the auger.

摘要： An asphalt mixer tip and shank assembly in which a pugmill shank is secured midway between its ends to a mixer shaft. The shank comprises a separable hub with complementary shaft gripping hub halves clamped to the mixer shaft by bolts interengaging the separable members. A mixer tip is detachably secured at each end of the shank. Each mixer tip is formed with an ear and a recessed portion to receive the distal end of its associated separable member of the shank and is secured to the shank by a pin passing through the ear to urge the shank into the recessed portion of the mixer tip in fixed relation thereto. A slip-on shroud is mounted on each end of the shank.
