    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multiplexed inverter which can drive many AC loads, using an efficient method from a low-voltage power source. SOLUTION: A multiplexed high voltage DC-AC driver includes many DC-AC switches 109-N and a decoder logic 121. Each DC-AC switch receives an input DC voltage, and toggles at the voltage, based on the input DC voltage at a rate based on the master clock signal at its output when an operation is allowed. The DC-AC switch 109-N includes one or more high side switches and low side switches. The low-side switch includes clock inverters 113, 117, and operates by deviating the phase to each high-side switch. The decoder logic allows the operation of the selected switch of the high-side switches, and allows the operation of the low-side switch, when the arbitrary high-side switch becomes allowed in the operation.       SOLUTION: A multiphase synthetic ripple voltage regulator employs a hysteretic comparator, connected to upper and lower voltage thresholds. The hysteretic comparator monitors a master ripple voltage waveform, developed across a capacitor supplied with an electric current proportional to the difference between the output voltage and either the input voltage or ground. The output of the hysteretic comparator generates a master clock signal that is sequentially coupled to PWM latches. The states of the PWM latches define the durations of respective components of the synthetic ripple voltage. Respective PWM latches have a first state, initiated by a selected master clock signal and terminated by an associated phase voltage comparator that monitors the respective phase node voltages.
