摘要： A cable which comprises a plurality of pairs of first and second insulated conductors. The first and the second insulated conductors, of each pair, are twisted with one another to form a twisted pair and each of the twisted pairs has a different lay length from one another. Each of the plurality of twisted pairs is wrapped with a hoop strength wrap which maintains a mechanical strength and integrity of the twisted pair during subsequent handing thereof, and a circumference of the hoop strength wrap is about 5% or less than a dielectric pair minimum circumference of the first and the second insulated conductors of the twisted pair. At least one metallic wrap is provided for shielding and grounding of the plurality of twisted pairs. The plurality of twisted pairs and the at least one metallic tape are surrounded and encased by a conventional exterior jacket to form the cable.

摘要： An optical fiber sensor can be interposed between a bumper reinforcement (7) and a load transmitting plate (20) to extend in the direction of width of a vehicle along with the bumper reinforcement (7). In this case, when a change does not occur substantially in an immediately previous predetermined period in an output voltage of a light emission amount of the optical fiber sensor, a feedback control is performed in such a way that the change becomes a level of zero of the output voltage of the optical fiber sensor. In contrast, when a change in the output voltage is not substantially zero, the immediately previous state of emission of light is maintained (S304). Accordingly, it is possible to effectively compensate a zero point shift caused by a temperature change or/and an aging degradation of the optical fiber sensor.

摘要： A non-lead type semiconductor device with a large terminal strength and a high reliability which has a sealant made of an insulation resin, a tab-hanging lead and leads exposed to the mount face of the sealant, a semiconductor element located within the sealant and fixed on a tab surface with a bond, and conductive wires electrically connecting the electrodes of the semiconductor element with the leads. At least a part of the lead is a reverse-trapezoidal crosssection constituted by a bottom face facing the top face and exposed from the sealant and by side faces combining both side edges of the top face and the bottom face. Both side edges of the top face are provided with a worked face one end of which is connected to the top face, and the other end of which is connected to the side face, and the top face and the side face of which are formed by crushing work different in extension direction. The angle between the top face and the worked face is larger than 90 DEG C.

摘要： A very thin superconducting Nb3-Al wire that exhibits a high current density in an intense magnetic field of the order of 20 teslas. For high degree of stability, the superconducting wire is coated with stabilizing material. A composite multi-conductor wire consisting of many Al or Al alloy members and an Nb matrix is cold-worked and is then immersed in a molten metal in an inert gas atmosphere so that the metal covers the composite wire. Thus, the stabilizing metal is formed to surround the superconducting wire.

摘要： In a vehicle bumper structure, an optical fiber sensor (32) is provided in a vehicle width direction on the front surface of a front-bumper reinforcement (30). A front-bumper absorber (28) is provided in front of the optical fiber sensor (32), the front-bumper absorber (28) formed of a soft absorber (54) and a hard absorber (56). The hard absorber is disposed at the bumper center region where the thickness of the bumper is increased. Accordingly, the thickness of the soft absorber (54) becomes substantially uniform in the vehicle width direction, so that a substantially uniform load is inputted to the optical fiber sensor (32) regardless of the collision position of the bumper with an object. As a result, variations in the output of the load-sensing unit are reduced.
