    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the optimum constitution for transmitting the torque and to provide a module capable of preventing thick cross ribs. SOLUTION: First link end parts 115 are mounted in the advancing direction of a belt 100, and second link end parts 118 are mounted in the opposite direction. The second link end parts are offset from the first link end parts so that the first link end part of one belt module can be fitted and inserted into a clearance between the second link end parts of the adjacent belt modules. Intermediate parts are formed for connecting the first link end parts to the second link end parts. The intermediate parts respectively have plural first cross rib parts 130 facing to the first direction and plural second cross rib parts 130 facing to the second direction opposite to the first direction. The cross lib parts have a face capable of being engaged with a tooth part of a sprocket, and alternately mounted at opposite sides with respect to a central line of the module.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide snap connection type side guards for a modular radius conveyor belt easy to assemble and disassemble for washing without obstructing contraction of modules. SOLUTION: The conveyor belt 20 comprises belt modules 23 and can follow a curved route. The module includes a top surface forming a product conveying surface, and a sprocket-driven bottom surface. A plurality of snap connection type side guards 35 are mounted within perpendicular openings 38 provided in the modules. Each of the side guards has a center post 41 with a pair of wings 44 and 47 extending forwards and backwards, respectively, along the direction of travel of the belt. The wings are arranged alternately in their transverse direction, with the forward wing of the first side guard overlying the rearward wing of the adjacent second side guard.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a modular radius conveyor belt capable of preventing the intrusion of operator's fingers into a lattice, though it has large pitches.
      SOLUTION: This radius conveyor belt is provided with a plurality of belt modules 26 having a plurality of first connecting end parts 41 mounted in the moving direction 32 of the belt, a plurality of second connecting end parts 44 mounted in the direction opposite to the first connecting end parts 41, and a cross rib 38 provided with webs 47 and waveform parts 50. A revolving shaft is mounted in a state of being extended across the moving direction of the belt through an opening of one of the second connecting end parts of the plurality of belt modules and through an opening formed on the first connecting end part of the adjacent belt module. The first and second connecting end parts of the adjacent belt modules are mutually inserted, and the adjacent belt modules are connected to each other in a row by being connected by hinges adjacent to each other and movable along a curved passage.
