The polymer comprises a hybrid organic-inorganic matrix having acid groups linked through a linking group. The linking group may include one or more electron withdrawing groups. The electron withdrawing group may be a halogen.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an all organic fully-packaged miniature bandpass filter, a balun, a diplexer, a multiplexer, a coupler and a combination of the devices, manufactured using liquid crystalline polymer (LCP) and other multilayer polymer-based substrates. SOLUTION: These devices are manufactured using one or more LCP layers on which integrated passive components are formed to achieve density and performance necessary for multiband wireless devices. In designs including a plurality of LCP layers, the LCP layers are separated by pre-preg layers. A coplanar waveguide, a hybrid stripline/coplanar waveguide and/or a microstrip topology are utilized to form the integrated passive component, and devices can be mass-produced each on a large area panel of at least 18 inches×12 inches with a line width smaller than 10 μm. 摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a biocompatible PVA hydrogel having a sufficient mechanical strength range relating to extremely various applications as a vital material by bearing the disadvantages of prior arts in mind, and to provide a method for manufacturing the PVA hydrogel which omits any of dehydrating process steps prior to embedment by precisely controlling the mechanical strength thereof.
SOLUTION: In a nondehydrated PVA structure obtained by process steps of; pouring an aqueous PVA polymer mixture into a casting mold; at least once freezing and thawing aqueous PVA polymer mixture in this casting mold to give rise to entangled networks among the PVA polymer molecules and to obtain the PVA cryogel, at least partly the PVA cryogel is taken out of the casting mold, the PVA cryogel is immersed into an aqueous solution, then at least once freezing and thawing the PVA cryogel while the PVA cryogel is kept immersed in the water, and the method for manufacturing the same is provided.

Then, a plurality of energy distributions are calculated for the weld zone on the basis of the plurality of filtered response signals of the measurement points. The plurality of energy distributions are compared with corresponding reference energy distributions, thereby determining the existence of the defect in the weld zone.

SOLUTION: The microneedle devices permit drug delivery (or removal or sensing of body fluids) at clinically relevant rates via skin or other tissue barriers, without damage, pain, or irritation to the tissue. Methods of making these devices, which can include hollow and/or porous microneedles, are also provided. A preferred method for making a microneedle includes forming a micromold having sidewalls which define the outer surface of the microneedle, electroplating the sidewalls to form the hollow microneedle, and then removing the micromold from the microneedle. In a preferred method of use, the microneedle device is used to deliver a fluid material into or via a biological barrier from one or more chambers in fluid connection with at least one of the microneedles.
