    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-in-oil emulsion ink which is excellent in rubbing resistance. SOLUTION: The water-in-oil (w/o) emulsion ink comprises an oil phase and an aqueous phase. The oil phase comprises a liquid resin having a viscosity of about 1,000-about 10,000 cP in an amount of about 0.1-about 10 wt.% based on the total weight of the ink. The aqueous phase comprises pigment and when the pigment comprises carbon black, all of the carbon black in the ink has a pH of at least 5. A process for preparing the w/o emulsion ink comprises adding the aqueous phase to the oil phase. The emulsion ink is particularly useful in stencil printing, especially digital duplication.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem such that a conventional stencil master for making a stencil according to an electrochemistry etching process has a very low optical contrast for void arrangement which produces an image, therefore it is difficult to correctly determine the stencil position prior to performing an etching process.
      SOLUTION: The thermal stencil master contains a colorant capable of being thermally activated. The stencil is made by thermally developing the above stencil master, then by producing the void as well as the color corresponding to the void in the above colorant capable of being thermally activated.
