摘要： To develop a means for effectively utilize terpene compounds contained in tree leaves, whereby branches and leaves cut in tree thinning and pruning can be effectively utilized as a resource. For this purpose, provided are a monoterpene component-rich essential oil containing 90% or more of monoterpene components; a method for producing the monoterpene component-rich essential oil which includes subjecting coniferous leaves to microwave steam distillation and collecting a distillate thus obtained; and a method for removing environmental pollutants which includes bringing the monoterpene component-rich essential oil into contact with atmosphere containing the environmental pollutants.

摘要： There is provided a process for industrial production of simple 3-carboxy-cis,cis-muconic acid and/or 3-carboxymuconolactone from low molecular mixtures derived from plant components such as vanillin, vanillic acid and protocatechuic acid, via a multistage enzyme reaction.
A recombinant plasmid containing a vanillate demethylase gene (vanAB genes), benzaldehyde dehydrogenase gene (ligV gene) and protocatechuate 3,4-dioxygenase gene (pcaHG genes); transformants incorporating the plasmid; and a process for production of 3-carboxy-cis,cis-muconic acid and/or 3-carboxymuconolactone characterized by culturing the transformants in the presence of vanillin, vanillic acid, protocatechuic acid or a mixture of two or more thereof.

摘要： Improved adhesives with significantly-enhanced bond strength is provided in accordance with the present invention, in particular by adding a bond-strength enhancing agent comprising particles to a binder. Such adhesives can be used in a process of producing a woody board, which results in a substantial reduction in amount of the adhesive used, thus leading to a reduction in overall woody board production costs. Methods for producing a woody board are also provided. The method includes the steps of: coating or spraying an adhesive composition on a wood raw material that is an aggregate composed of wood chips; forming the wood raw material coated or sprayed with the adhesive composition into a specified shape; and heat-pressing the wood raw material formed into the specified shape and again forming the heat-pressed wood raw material into the specified shape. The adhesive composition is obtained by adding a bond-strength enhancing agent composed of particles to an adhesive.

摘要： A bandsaw machine comprises lower and upper wheels (2,1) supported by a stationary shaft (2a) and a movable shaft (1a), respectively, a bandsaw blade (3) mounted on and around the wheels (1,2) to run therearound, and a bandsaw blade tension mechanism (4,5) for normally stretching said bandsaw blade (3). The bandsaw blade tension mechanism includes a lever (4), a weight (5) hung from one end of the lever, a push rod (6) having a lower end connected to the other end of the lever (4) and an upper end engaging the movable shaft (1a), and a vibration absorber (7) interposed between the weight (5) and one end of the lever (4). Thus, a balance weight is not directly influenced by vibration of a balance lever caused by changes in tensile force of a bandsaw blade, and thereby prevents transfer of its vibration to the bandsaw, changes in tensile force of the bandsaw blade, vibration and unstable travel of the bandsaw blade.

摘要： In order to inexpensive construction materials effectively utilizing timber resources and realizing any desired properties by using so called low-quality materials including slim timbers, old timbers, wood cuttings produced by lumbering, bamboo, and so forth, wood, bamboo and other wooden source materials are split into fragments along their fibers by water vapor explosion, and such explosive-split fragments are shaped and hardened by adding an adhesive, mortar or expandable resin into a new wooden material such as multi-layered board, cement board or foamed resin board of explosive-split fragments. The explosive-split fragments are also usable in various fields other than fabrication of the new material.
