摘要： PURPOSE: To obtain a printing master developed at a high speed by using a conversion solution containing a specific ratio of a phytic acid aqueous solution, a water-soluble anionic polymer and a water-soluble dibasic acid and having a pH of about 3.5 to about 6.0. CONSTITUTION: A solution exhibiting very excellent desensitizing characteristics is generated in the case of combining about 1.0 to about 3.0% of a phytic acid in the solution and about 1.0 to about 3.0% and about 0.5 to about 2.0% of water-soluble dibasic acid and water-soluble anionic polymer with the phytic acid. The dibasic acid component is preferably a succinic acid, and may contain an alkanoic acid such as an adipic acid, a malonic acid or the like and a substituted alkanoic acid such as a citric acid. And, as the anionic polymer, a water-soluble compound in which a water can be diluted without limit with a molecular weight of about 10,000 to about 500,000 is preferably used, and used with pH of about 3.5 to 6. As a result, a scum or a sharpness of an end of a halftone dot in an area between images is sufficient, and a printing master which can be developed at a high speed is obtained.

摘要： PURPOSE: To provide a clamp or holding assembly for copy machines such as printing machines using a cantilever or pivotal beam, which can be adjusted so as to tilt a plate as desired. CONSTITUTION: This is a modified plate clamp assembly for copy machines, which are provided with a pivotally attached or cantilever beam 22 in a front edge plate clamp assembly 16 and a calibrated cock screw that allows the plate to tilt on the plate cylinder by moving one end of the pivotally attached or cantilever beam 22. In this modified assembly, during the plate attachment, the rear edge plate clamp assembly is automatically adjusted, resulting that the front edge assembly matches the rear edge assembly, and the front edge plate clamp assembly 16 adjusts tilt angles of the front edge of the plate. The assembly uses a spring assembly to adjust itself for different widths plates.
